I was in my favoite U-pull-it yesterday and spotted a Laser that had just been dropped and had not been picked thru yet (other then the turbo). My 93' Talon has only manual windows and locks that I have wanted to upgrade since I bought it. A half hour later I had both doors in my truck (only $50 for everything). I have not had a chance to play with them yet, but does anyone know if there is a seperate power window or lock control unit, and if so where they are? I know in my old Honda they were tucked under the dash but you had to know what you were looking for. I know some are right in the door switch too. Also if anyone knows where I could find a wiring diagram that would be much appreciated. I am not expecting this will be an easy project but I hate not being able to drop both windows with the flick of a switch.

I've got the circuit diagram for the 1G in pdf form if you need. I looked through it and it only looks like you need to worry about grabbing the 30A relay on the main block under the hood to get it to work. There is a 10A for the ignition that is involved but you should have that already. As for the doors, there is a relay under the driver side dash and a Door lock control unit or theft alarm on the passenger side close to the blower motor. PM me if you need me to email or setup an ftp location for you to pull the pdf. It's 5.5MB. You gonna grab the ABS as well?

I don't think I will be upgrading to ABS. The windows and doors will be enough a project before the winter settles in. I would like to see that shcmatic though. I will PM my e-mail. Thanx for the info.
