i have a 99 rs that is like to put power windows in, I know a lot of universal kits come with power locks to but I don't really care about those. I'm just wondering how I hook them up to switch power after there installed?

Instructions should come with the kit, but if not then use a test light and poke around in the fuse box. Chances are you will find an unused fuse whose power is switched with the key, or at least a power wire that would work. Won't recommend piggybacking off another circuit though.

Don't get a universal kit. All you need is the power window 'stuff' out of a GS, GST or GSX along with the switches, door panel and door wiring harness. Under the dash you just has to plug in the relay and you are set. It's super simple. I believe 2gnt.com has a wiki write up.
