OK, just looking for some input here, especially if anybody has taken this route. I'm running a 62-62 turbo, so spool time will be slower than I like. To get this sled moving a little sooner I was tossing around the nitrous / methanol questions in my head. My thoughts were to run a wet nitrous kit, and I had considered a few options. Option 1 is to run methanol on the fuel side of the kit with it's own seperate tank, pump, and some sort of a pressure cutoff switch so if the methanol fails, it would disarm the nitrous. If I went this route, I would be tuning the car on 93 octane and spraying it all the way through the powerband. Option two is to tune the car on e85, and just run a standard wet kit with fuel on the wet side. If I took this route, I would also run a pre-throttle body methanol kit along with it, and have the nitrous disarm when the car hits full boost, then just run methanol on the upper end of the rpm range so I could run higher boost safely. Just looking for some educated feedback because this will make a big difference in injector sizing when I get ready to order. Also fyi, the car will be AEM managed to keep control of all of this.
