I was told that Seibon's quality is 100x's better then VIS. The weave, the fit, everything is better from what I have heard.

DGajre777 said:HOW is a vented hood better of aerodynamics?? Vent = 'form drag', due to the vent sticking out of the hood instead of a smooth hood surface AND the air coming out of the bay will collide with the air flowing over the hood to cause 'eddies' which will cause 'interference drag'. Both are parasite drag, which is bad for airflow and bad in aerodynamic design. They are good for engine bay cooling though. I agree on that one.

Another thing, wouldn't a hood with an intake, provide more flow to the intake filter and hence increase horsepower? Or is the horsepower increase so small that it is not even noticable with the ram air hood?anyone know?
Bigglesworth87 - I'll try to find a side pic of the invader hood to see what you are talking about.
Looking for a CF hood that looks good and has functional venting (since I usually get intake temps of 100+

I really like this one...Is it metal, fiberglass, or CF?
And it's functional..That's a nice..

This was recently..
That's not the same hood..The one I quoted you can see has a dip before the scoop..And the scoop is smaller..The one from andy's auto sport has a bigger scoop, and no dip before the scoop..And its 600 freakin dollars..
I like the OEM carbon hood with some type of vent near the camgear bump. I've never seen it done though.
hThose things were hideous.
I still want that silver supra style hood.
Only this that I know ofAnyone have a (custom) EVO style hood without that fugly divider?

Sorry for digging up the dead..I know you've decided, bought, painted and installed your hood but something thats always been on my mind is a double bulge hood (opposite side). Someone with some skills might be able to acomplish this...just an idea
So you basically want a pair of breasts on the front of your car?
