Plymouth Laser upgrades.

I just bought a bonestock plymouth laser 92. what should i start off buying? i wanna pinch my pennies i have a turbo back already. what else? i have dsm link already.

Do you have an auto or 5speed? DO you have a wideband 02 sensor? Next mods then should be injectors, fuel pump, and afpr.. Get used to tuning then you can upgrade turbo and intercooler..

mmmm 92 laser, 6/4 combo, i would keep it stock.

I would start with maintenance. Make sure everything is in working order before you start to turn up the boost.

Follow the upgrade guide for the 1g here and you will be safe.

Intake piping, less restrictive filter, Boost Gauge, Wideband. Maybe upgrade to a 2g or evo3 exhaust manifold, the 1g are prone to cracking.

i just wish i had an unlimited supply of money, it sucks being able to only do so much at a time,. you know?

Whatever you do, DON"T rush yourself into things. Everyone wants to go fast, but maintenance beforehand is key. If you keep up with your DSM, it'll reward you for a long time. Once the maintenance is done move onto what was posted above.

I would suggest doing some suspension upgrades, adjustable shocks and lowering springs and strut tower bars will make it feel like a new car.

ill do coil overs if i do suspension. i live in pa. i dont wanna lower it too much. thanks tho guys. i maintain all of my stuff. i race motocross i keep my bikes spotless. everything i have is perfect .

Coilovers are the way to go, but if your on a budget it would be hard to get them because they are so expensive.

I was reading a thread yesterday..The guy got megan racing coilover for a little over 700..I know there megan racing, and they probably ride like crap, but it's always an option..And if you went with an eiback spring kit, with the megan coilovers, that might ride alrite..But that also adds another probably 200 to the price of the suspension..

You can pinch pennies but please don't buy ebay products unless it has to do with piping (fmic, exhaust, etc.) cherish u laser and don't put bogus parts on it

the 6/4 combo is great i would just get some injectors 16g and fmic call it a day =)

Get the gauges(boost/vacum, wideband maybe a temp) then fmic, fuel pump, injectors then a turbo.
