ok so im all new the the world of dsm products,
i just resenly got an 1992 plymouth laser rs 2.0 turbo awd, that was pretty much stock untill the 2nd owner installed i was told installed a small 16g turbo, what are the pros and cons of this , is there anything i need to be updateing so i dont run the engine????? all help will be appricated .

Congrats on your pucrhase! A small 16g is fine if you keep the boost down. It has the ability to flow more than the stocker. To do so you will need to upgrade some things. The cons of a small 16g? Not many, maybe slightly longer spool times.

As far as I know everything else is stock , i was just worried if I didn't change anything else I would take a chance of burning up the motor? As far as I know the wastegate is factory .

Post pictures of your engine bay. We need to know what else you have. a small 16g is fantastic and capable of very respectable numbers with a couple supporting mods. Make a DSM profile. What is your build date? Do you know if it's a 6 or 7 bolt? Post pictures of the numbers on the turbo as well and all around it so we can see if its an MHI or knock off unit.
