Planning on buying new used transmission. How to shop?

Ebay has a few and some of them have miles listed while others don't and the ones that do have MORE miles than my worn out 110k mile one. Does that make sense? What would your guys advise? Are most of these used trannys operationally tested or just visually? Should all my synchros be shot at such low mileage?

You really don't know until you get it and drive it.its used I have one but I back up what I sell on eBay . It is a used item sometimes its better to have one rebuilt when you find one.

I think you said you don't know about a used one til you Pop it in and drive it and that you have one for sale?

Take it apart and check it over. A FWD is easy to take apart.

Well, before i start shopping, I just want to make sure I understand my options. 1) I get a rebuilt one for around $800-$1200(?) which will strip me of my "core" but give me a like new transmission, or 2) take a chance with a used one around $600 and either way end up with two to work on myself giving me a spare?
