Alright i am rebuilding my 4g63t . When i took the pistons out every 2nd ring on the pistons were stuck . So i had to pry them out with a screw driver gently . Then i cleaned the groove . For some reason the new rings still have trouble fitting in the ring gap. Are these Pistons shot i dont see how that is possible. But im telling you they will hardly squeeze in the gap .. Hopefully someone out there has experinced this and can help me?

WTF

I have the right rings but . I bought a piston ring groove cleaner and it jacked up a piston
so i said screw it and i bought a new set. they must be extremly carbon filled

Thanks though !
