Here is my updated pic, i still need a few things, but this is what it is going to look like...

Here's my set-up. These pics are from last spring during my custom MS harness progress and e85 conversion, since then I have replace the s16g with the s20g. I relocated the batt to the trunk and removed the ECU, factory harness, ps, ac, cruise, evap, and egr.

I am not knocking you at all because that's probably my favorite 420a-t setup I have seen yet but with all that custom stuff and the great setup any reason you didn't atleast break the 400whp mark? Full standalone and all custome one-offs I had you pegged for like 450whp to be honest:confused: What turbo is that?

Thanks, The turbo is a garrett GT30R. We were only able to tune up to 22psi. Thats all the waste gate spring would hold, once I change that we will turn it up to 28-30psi and we should be able to break 400whp.

Shame on you LOL j/k Why no areomotive? and prothane mounts would be greatly benefitial for a setup like this too.

Prothane mounts are one of the many things on my list but other things have come up which takes priority over the car.

Slippi, Aeromotive makes black AFPR's too. It could be your eyes or the shading of the photo.

Yeah, I figured it was something like that. HKS is very popular over there. Also from what my buddy tells me, whom is stationed in Okinowa Japan, alot of the performance parts are MUCH cheaper then what we are charged in America.

Hell, my buddy got me one of the new ARK turbo timers (with built in shift lamp, a/f display, battery voltage check, post idle control-which retails for like $169 w/out shipping) for $75 from a vendor over there... Shipped it back to me via military mail. Workd out pretty nice.

Got ya it just looked like a stock one kinda. I'm all about function over looks though so if it's a HKS and it's doing the job :rocks:

Japanese parts are a lot cheaper in Japan, but here in Thailand, there is a 30% import tax on everything, so you can add about 40% to what you can get it for in Japan. Luckily I have a few connections to get some parts at cost, although HKS is hard to find cheap over here.

I am being serious about the quaife breaking, I dont know how it happened ### I was driving into a parking lot in 1st gear, came to a complete stop and I went to put it in reverse to back into a spot and let out the clutch, the car wouldn't move. So I ended up dropping the tranny and there were metal shavings all over inside the axle holes in the diff.

newdsmtnr96...if your using an ebay turbo, it is suggested to use an oil restrictor on the feed line as the pressure will blow the turbo seals fairly quick. Good luck!

thanks man, my engine guy found alota crap with the kit.. he replaced about 300.00 worth of stuff.... i would have done this but putting so much money into the car... i left it to a professional.. i think he replaced the oil lines and some other things too..
