Pics of some progress on the new setup (HX40/JMF Drag etc.)

Couple more updates:
Got another batch of 3" Wiggins clamps for the UICP:

Also picked up some 3/4" clamps because I will be redoing the oil drain setup, I think the old setup was a little too small, some people in the Holset threads are thinking that improper sizing of the drain has lead to some failures, so better safe than sorry.

Picked up a Function7 oil feed flange with a built in restrictor, very nice piece:

Also got a great deal on some new gauges. I hate the reverse glow style gagues, and I always wanted to simple way to change from the stock amber color to blue. Well I found a basically brand new set of SpeedHut gauges in black face with blue lighting, and I jumped on them and ended up getting them for 1/2 what they go for new. Basically a stock looking gauge set, but lights up blue instead of amber:

And these will look great with my Stewart Warner gauges:

And I saved the best for last. After talking with Brent from JMF about one of his new battery tray, look what showed up at my door:

A tray for the PC925 battery! This is perfect for guys who DD their car, but would like to have the extra output of a larger battery than the PC680. Especially those who live in colder weather, as the PC680s have had some problems with cold weather. Here are some pics of it installed in Brent's car:

Your setup is looking amazing. And those calipers are from a Cobra you said? Also another question. Do you have the car running yet? Because I was wondering with the exhaust housing you are using, are you running into any boost creep issues. And i really like the setup, it makes it look a lot cleaner.

Thanks,
Stefan

Chris, the coating is 2000* silver by Columbia Coatings. Stanley Distributions did it for me (stanleydistribution.com). They are great to work with, I was one of the first ones getting silver, and Justin told me if I didn't like it, they would re-coat it in a different color for no charge.

Thanks Stefan. But unfortunately the car is still not running. School is over in about a month, so hopefully I will have time to work on it soon.

Yeah I know what you mean Kyle. I'm on the same boat as you. Between school and work it's pretty crazy. Also I noticed that your Exhaust housing and wastegate setup is very similar to mine. Where did you get that.

what kind of rotors are you running on the car?? they look nice.... also, where did you get the brackets from??

The rotors are 94-04 Mustang Cobra rotors, they were purchased off of ebay, can't recall what company they were from. And the brackets were custom made, the dimensions can be found in the "Bargain Basement Big Brakes" thread, they were designed by Wortdog.

Well, came home for the weekend and there were a few boxes waiting for me, so I figured I would snap some pics of them and some other stuff I have laying around.

First off, the gauges I have for the car. Stewart Warner Maximum series. They are a great, stock looking gauge:

I hope to be picking up the new AEM analog wideband setup, which should match these nicely.

Some more JMF goodness: Heatshield for the FP Race manifold. Jim was cool enough to tack on a logo in the corner:thumb:

Had to post some pics of my carbon fiber goodies:

Some people might not like this, but I was wanting vented hood, and the Evo style hoods are hideous. I think this actually goes with the 1gb Talon lines very well, and looks pretty aggressive. Add in the fact I got it for just under $300 shipped new, and I think it was a pretty good choice ;)

I don't want to take any chances with it flying up, so I got some nice hood pins. I love the AeroCatch latches, so while I was looking I found these super-JDM limited edition hood pins:tease::

That's right, Bride makes hood pins? Anyways, they are actually AeroCatch hood pins, just relabeled. The instructions and paperwork was from AeroCatch. I got this over regular AeroCatch pins because I found them a little cheaper than the basic ones, and these are the key-locking version.

Now to the fun part, fuel:

I had a recent change of plans. I was originally going to use a Walbro 255 intank to a Bosch 044 inline, but I decided play it safe with fuel for a while ROFL, and picked up another 044. I am going to be using these in a gravity fed setup, with the JMF bolt in fuel cell. They are both using -6AN inlets and outlets, T'ed into -8AN to the filter and Magnus rail. I'm also using the Magnaful AFPR with -8AN inlet and -6AN return.

And I realized that I didn't post any pics of the car itself up. I don't have too many, it isn't in the best of shape right now, it's a little torn up. Here are 2 I have of it:
With a ViS stock style CF hood:

And the Dejon Race FMIC with a 3" outlet:

Well, thats what I have right now. School will be over in a couple weeks, I can't wait to actually have time to work on it.
