2G Over heating going uphill or under load

As title states the temperature rises u set load going up hill.
I can city drive and temperature will not budge stay constant at operating temp. Once I get one the highway and start driving up hill and inclines the temp starts to climb. I left of the throttle and the temp will drop back to normal without issue.

The car has a recent short block and rebuilt head all new gaskets water oem. Short block built by SIM and installed by another shop. Motor is super fresh only has 600 miles I'm still driving to break in for the full tune.

Manifold I changed because it was too close to radiator I have now a South Florida Manifold and its wrapped with Tatanium DEI wrap.

I have one Pusher Mishimoto fan on the inside and one puller fan on the opposite side of the radiator. I have a 1g radiator. 50/50 antifreeze.

Fans are running constant and have power all times.

Any idea what's the issue. Idle is tuned with ECMlink does not over heat on idle runs cool.
 
I am running two SPAL pushers and just recently put a SPAL puller on my passenger side since my HX40 won't give me room for the stock fan or a fan on the inside on the drivers side. I have also added a mid '80's Camaro front air dam and now my car stays cool, but not until I put the puller on. The pusher fans were blowing air all over the place, some through the radiator but a lot AROUND it and over it. It works for me. Maybe you can adapt something of the same for yours.
 
Mine are unshrouded Gary, not much room in a '90 for anything when you have a HX40 hogging the inside and a FMIC and a oil cooler out in front which doesn't help but the best thing was to get a puller back on it. Even the twin pushers didn't want to take the heat down but the puller works great and I don't need it with my air dam on the underside on the highway.
 
Do you have a fan shroud on that is against the radiator (no space between them)?
Our cars need a fan shroud.

No fan shroud the fan is against the Radiator. I do have room on the driver side for another fan due to the my second fan being placed on front side of the radiator I between the FMIC. Running 3 fans is that even smart pulling that much current away from the system itself.

But the shroud should fit now I will look into getting on or making one thanks

Your running 3 fans does it pull a lot of current or voltage from the system does it cuz dimming or anything else. Thanks
 
They don't pull as many amps as you would think, but I don't use the pushers anymore since the airdam and puller work fine. I still see 13.4 volts with all three on but I have a 90 amp Galant alternator also.
No dimming of anything, even at night when everything is on.

Cool I have a rebuilt High 120 amp on the car so I shouldn't see any problem either.

Do u have a picture of the air dam u speak of by any chance or simple Google would do it.

Never mind I just googled it perfect.
 
They fit almost like they were meant to go on the car width wise. They are a bit tall but they scoop up the air good and you can always trim it down if it is to tall for your clearance. It will clear our tracks minimum height of 3" I know and they are hard to see since they are black. Very easy to install and to find, just grab the bolts that hold it on the donor car to use on yours!
 
Here is what that air dam looks like on my car for reference. I also build Camaro's so I had a couple parts cars that I grabbed it off of.

What CFMs are your fans rated for? If you haven't already, you should try putting the fan in the stock location. Some fans are designed to pull only or push only. You should definitely not need 3 fans unless the CFMs is not enough.
 
If I had room for the second fan on the inside, I would unmounts the pushers and I am still thinking of getting them out of the way but it gets hot and humid here in SEK so better safe than sitting on the side of the road waiting on temps to cool. Thank you Vdubzr32.

Did you end up figuring out the problem? I’m having the same issues doesn’t overheat at idle only at highway speeds and uphill
