Really cool guys, my buddy and I where just hanging out asking a bunch if question. I believe they said it has a dogbox. The setup is so simple it rediculous, it still has power windows .

I wouldnt call anything about his setup simple. The car is well BUILT. The bottom end may be stock but thats about as "simple" as I'd go when I mention this car. The car is built with quality parts that will soon get him in the 8's if he can keep the bottom end together. That turbo is a beast and the PPG gearset will hold it.

I wanna see the time slips. Those 60's have to be CRAZY. Wonder what the 1/8 was also?

Not simple meaning anyone can do it, but simple compared to quite a bit of other setups I see at the track running similar times.

When you tear down these motors for a rebuild do you reuse the origional OEM rod bolts or do you buy new OEM rod bolts?

Yeah we use the original OEM bolts .

Well to be honest with you we tried to get a Driveshaft Shop sponsorship but they said that they didnt have a budget in place for sponsorships this year so we decided to run the stock stuff and see how much they would hold. Funny thing is they are holding up just fine

I'm gonna have to guess it's a 4 bolt 'cause if you're doing 9.2's on a 3 bolt, you are the new god.

I expected at least an axle bar upgrade

yeah it's a 4 bolt and we thought about upgrading, as I said but since the money went to other things like the trans, we gave the stock stuff a chance.

What's your peak RPM on those run's? it sounds like it really rips through the rpm band.

Rev limiter is set to 9100 rpm but I shift around 8800-9000
