Care to donate one of those bad boys to me? Stock plock means no ARP rod bolts, and it looked like they were OEM bolts in the video.
But I know these guys have been hit by the "You were using ARPs!" bat in the past. Just wanted to through the credible verification out there.Showing what the stock block can do.Care to donate one of those bad boys to me?
You need more videos, also.
And just to clarify - No ARP hardware, correct?

Indeed. But I know these guys have been hit by the "You were using ARPs!" bat in the past. Just wanted to through the credible verification out there.

Let's not go down this road again guy
I can't donate one but we will gladly build one for a moderate yet generous fee
Relax~ No one could justify themselves disputing that. It's truly inspiring to see someone come up and pull these numbers on a stock bottom end. You had best be at the Shootout this year. You have to be - you owe me lunch and I enjoy my owed lunches.
I may contact you on details about assembling me such a block in the near future.
id be happy if my stock block holds 380whp as a daily
You can't build your own stock block? Embarassing...

Well of course! I've done all of my builds myself, including my 2.3. But would I ever try to run it near what these guys are? Certainly not. If it were that easy to do everything as right then the Stock block record wouldn't exactly be a record, would it?
So you would go to some one who assembled a stock shortblock and push it because they hold the record with it? Alright.
It's more of an ironic joke. Ha-ha? You know. Supporting a likable shop because of the work they've done? Jesus Christ, we really are filling up with the drooling assholes these days, aren't we?

Tell that to you friend man the one that butchered the crank with a butter knife and overtorqued it, not to mention no bearing and sold it. Forget it...
Ostar congratulations!!!
This may have been addressed in another thread so sorry for my ignorance. Is this the original from the factory untouched block, or is it a stock block assembled with all new oem parts?
I believe that it has arp head studs. please correct me if i am wrong.
Amazing what a stock block can do with our 4g63's and its funny how many honda boys talk crap about DSM's.
AMAZING numbers and can't wait to see what you guys can do this season. Best of luck.
Btw how often do things break on that stock block seeing those numbers?

Just throwing this out there.. The F series has done 750whp through a stock block also..Don't think it's gone 9's but it can certainly do the power.
Everytime I look at this thread, I get a woody. Quit.
It's an unmodified bottom end. All stock parts. No Upgrades pistons, rods, rod bolts, head bolts, etc. Doesn't have to be brand new or anything of that sort - only maintain it's state of being unmodified.
