Only because using spacers would only give me a stagger but not a dished rear wheel (to explain it best?). The staggered 9" rear and 8" front wheel combo will be slightly more dished in the rear due to the wider rear rim, giving it a dished and staggered appearance.

You've been told what might and probably happen to your transmission should you decide to actually go for this "staggered" look. At the end of the day it's your car so do what you want. Will it #### up your transmission...Maybe. Most of the people on this forum are performance oriented and would never risk their transmission for the sake of it looking flush or staggered or whatever the hell you want to call it.

So you're essentially going after a RWD look? Deeper dish rear than front?

1/2" is in fact greater than 1/8".

If you want "stance", follow Mark's advice. If you want stagger, buy a RWD.

Or go backwards (Forwards?) and get a FWD.
