2G Opinions on Aftermarket CV Axle Brands

I’m about to replace the CV axles on my 96 Spyder GST and wondering if anyone on here has a preference amongst the various brands available.

I’m currently deciding between Cardone and Trakmotive on Rockauto. Is anyone familiar with either of these brands or do they know if these differ in any significant way?

I’m open to all opinions or brand suggestions.

Rockauto usually has some that are oem rebuilds, these tend to be the best. They're easy to tell because they have the non round shape on the cup. All the aftermarket ones are usually a full round cup and the splines tend to be weaker. If it's just a daily, probably not a big deal but if you ever launch the car, it's a huge deal.

That’s pretty much the conclusion I came to, as well. Cardone seems to be the brand that offers OEM rebuilds. I bought one of their steering racks a few years ago and it was an OEM rebuild, I believe.

I was leaning towards Cardone for this reason, so I think I will go with those.
