Still have my 1G GSX dealer model in the box. Unfortunately none of it is mint, but I do have it still as a reminder of my time spent with DSM's.

Following up, finally. One of best threads on here. Makes me realize I was lucky to fall in love with them the way I did. Just happened upon one at 16 and it was over. Had I been just a little bit older my life would’ve been different, cuz it would’ve been nothing but DSM from the beginning. Would’ve been awesome to be around the scene when Shep and everyone were breaking the glass ceilings. Anywho, my wife got me this for Xmas so thought I’d put it up. I see it was on page 2, but we got it just last year. From a National Geographic mag originally.

Looks like Phil is an admin in one of the bigger FB groups now, and that's where he posts all of his vintage magazine ads and covers. Looks like he's posted several in the last week. I've invited him several times to share that stuff here but I guess some people simply refuse to log in and post here, for whatever reason. It's too bad, I'd love to have all of that stuff chronicled here so it can live forever, as opposed to the Fecesbook abyss. Oh well.I haven’t noticed Phil post on Facebook in a while either, but he really does have so much awesome stuff. Would love to see more!

Yea, that's a bummer. Another old clipping for the threadLooks like Phil is an admin in one of the bigger FB groups now, and that's where he posts all of his vintage magazine ads and covers. Sincere thanks to all those who still participate here and contribute to what we're doing. This site is like my 3rd child. Thank you for helping keep it alive through devotion and dedication, and choosing to share your DSM content here instead of on FB. You're making a bigger impact on the community than you realize.
