Oil restrictor placement

So I am running a oil restrictor on my turbo. I have the restrictor directly in my turbo(1/8th npt) Because of this it puts my feed line kinda close to the exhaust. Would i be ok to move it to the other side of the line off the OFH. I searched but there were no threads I could find about the actual placement of the restrictor. I would think it dosent matter aslong as its inline. But I could be wrong and I though I would ask.

I just made a banjo fitting out of a m12x1.5 bolt for my holset. When i drilled it out i used a 5/64 drill bit to make it a .078 restrictor. It fit the oil line i used for my 16g coming from the ofh. They are both m12 just a different pitch.

So can I put it anywhere inline or does it have to be right at the turbo??
