Is this after the oil gets the operation temp?

What would happen if the engine off and key on, and key off?

If the gauge needle wouldn't swing out like the pic with key on while the engine is not running, you actually have high oil pressure or the gauge is not reading properly for some reason like bad sending unit or gauge. (It's common that the gauge doesn't work well. You need an aftermarket oil pressure gauge to read the actual oil pressure number)

If the gauge needle would swing out with key on while the engine is not running and goes down when the key is off, you have a short in the circuit, most likely the wire for the sending unit is grounded in somewhere.

For instance, if you didn't connect the wire to the sending unit properly and if the wire tip or connector is touching the sending unit body or somewhere it's grounded, this may happen. The sending unit body is a ground except the terminal.

I don't know what you exactly fixed but if the gauge was reading properly before you fixed something, you may probably have a short in the circuit, improper wiring. You should recheck for what you have done.

The Guage stayed like that even when the car was off.
If you meant that the gauge always stays like that with the key in the off position or without the key, then the gauge is broken. Maybe still repairable but you have to disassemble the cluster.
