I know I have an oil leak it is pretty significant but here is what I got for you. It is not from the valve cover, or the HG. My tranny is dry on the top but wet on the bottom and it is engine oil not gear oil. It seems to be from the driver side more. Is there anything that leaks above the oil filter housing and below the HG. I am not sure what it is at all I guess it could be just be the oil filter housing and it is just leaking all the way over to the tranny. I just need to know the common things that leak, please. Thanks you guys area always helpful.

Could be the front case, still have BS's on your 6bolt?
Might not have used enough sealant on the bolt or plug that seals the holes left over. Other than that there isn't much that can leak, possibly your OFH?
What's your oil pressure at, really high cold starts?

The easiest way to go about finding a leak is to go buy some dye and degreaser and clean the oil soaked area and anywhere you suspect really well. Then run the motor a while and use a black light to find the leak. The kits can be had for around $30.00. Which you would probably spend throwing gaskets at it guessing at the leak. Without seeing the leak and soaked areas it's very hard to tell where it could be from.

Wow guys thanks for the responses. I do not know if the BS's were removed, how would I? The dye is a great idea, definitely going to buy a kit tonight. Also real quick I feel that it might just be the OFH, can that be replaced with the timing belt on??? My oil pressure seems to be normal for the most part it is a bit high on cold starts but when I say cold starts I mean it because I live in NH and it is already low 30's here. I am also thinking of replacing the oil pan just because there is a dent in it, from the idiot who owned it before me, I assume that is as simple as get the stuff out of the way below it, unbolt it and then just remove?? Thanks again.
