Anyone have an opinion on oil filters? I hear that there are lousy ones out there. Anyone have any hard facts on them?

i am using a mitsu 3000gt vr4 oil filter on my GSX. It is the best that i have found.
. But seriously... have any of you had a problem with the new fram filters? I was told a filter is a filter... and as long as you change them with your oil everything should be fine..Originally posted by 98TsiAWD
Somebody tried arguing with me that FRAM are the best filters ever made, I let it go in one ear and out the other.

Interesting. Although I wonder why in the Amsoil filter review the author says it's probably the best choice, but in the conclusions fails to mention it, suggesting "Mobil 1, STP/Bosch, or Japanese Honda filter."
