Oil Filter Housing Problem

I'm having trouble with my 92 eagle talon fwd turbo. I just had a rebuilt engine put in and the oil cooler keeps coming loose, it spins the oil filter off first then the cooler bolt begins to come loose. The oil cooler was tightened to the right specs on install and several times later. So we aren't dealing with loose bolt to begin with! Someone please help me!

Are you running an external oil cooler or is it the stock internal one? Maybe try thread lock on the other bolts.

Perhaps a previous owner overtightened the bolts/filter stretching both thread sets.

try some locktite on the bolts, or a few extra pounds of torque mabye
