Ok, I have a big leak. It seems as if it was coming from the oil filter. I pulled off the oil filter and the gasket/o-ring was "stretched" and wasn't on the filter. The filter was a Napa filter. I read on a different thread of a bad oil filter housing, that the part where you screw the filter on was loose. I don't know the exact terminology for that specific part but its what you screw the filter on to. Understand? Turns out, I went to go see how loose it was and I was able to turn the part with my hands, so I tightened it. Is it supposed to be that loose? And should I tighten it down with a wrench. I don't want to damage that oil filter housing. This leak is pretty bad so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I will also post pictures if the above sounds confusing. Let me know.

Yes tighten it down with a wrench, it should not be loose. It will just happen again if its not tighten with a wrench.

Ok, do you think that will help aiding the leak? And do you know if there is a different gasket that belongs on the housing part, not the filter? If it's running, it loses about a quart every 15 seconds :banghead:

Your also going to want to replace this gasket. Read this thread and you'll find the part number for it. I ended up having to order it from JNZtuning. Could only find that part OEM. Its the orange gasket, you need to split the oil filter housing to see it.
