i have a gauge pillar for my car, which one of the gauges is the oil pressure. it came with a new sender, but my car doesnt have a sender, it has a switch. now i seen on here that u can use a t-fitting to have the switch and the sender on at the same time, but my shop said that an oil filter adapter would be better, and would have a better response since a ti-fitting would be taking oil and distributing it to 2 places, the switch and the sender, or sumthin to that affect, but if i have the oil filter adapter, the sender and the switch would hook right up to the filter, so is this a better way that having a t-fitting, and also, is the thread size 1/4 npt?
