Ok, I have searched and couldn't find anything on this.

Has anyone cut the frame of the AC fan to fit an O2 housing external wastegate (PR O2, and old style tial wastegate (large)
I'm in the middle of putting my turbo and all other components on, so I haven't messed around with it to see if that would even work.
Just wondering if anyone has cut the one brace to the fan motor, and maybe trimmed the blades a little if need be (not sure if that would be necessary)

I ended up melting my OEM fan blades when I installed my O2 external wastegate. The plastics used on the OEM fan is a weird type of plastic that melts at a low temerpature compared to most other plastics I've seen. I ended up using a slimline fan because of this.

Oh ok, does it help if it's recirculated? Or was yours recirculated and it did this anyway?

I'm recirculated. Problem has happened to people internal gated & from the downpipe heat. Search for melted fan on this site. You can find more folks that have posted about having this happen.

Oh ok, what fan (or size of fan) did you end up going with? Also I've hear people go with a pusher fan, but some of them delete the ac condenser and I don't see the point of keeping that fan if there is no ac. There is about 2 inches in between the condenser and the metal ac tubes, then about another inch before hitting my Fmic, So would a pusher fan fit without removing the AC condenser?
