My 6 bolt swap went perfect no cel, so i thought. I went to get my car inspected but the catalyst,o2 sensor, o2 heater, and egr said not ready, so i failed. This happend last year because I take it off the road for the winter so it sat for 3 months then when i put it on the road i went straight to get it inspected, I know i failed cause i needed to drove around 100 miles after i put the battery in, but this time around i have just about 1k:confused: he said to reset battery drive 100 miles and come back, but i honestly don't think that will work. I mean i dont have cat, but i didnt last year and i passed, only thing different is I dont have the egr or evap system. I guess I can try what the guy said, if not ill just take the inspection from my honda then get that inspected again. I hate NY,but i know others are worse...

inspections can be a bit**:notgood:

There is a method you can try next time and you wont have to drive 100 miles to do it..It goes like this....The car has to start cold, turn the air on and the heater for 2 minutes while in drive or neutral(standard) and sitting still in the driveway with the break on...Then head out onto the road pick up speed from 0 to 55 gradually for 5 minutes then coast to a stop without using breaks until you are almost stopped...Do the same thing again for 5 minutes but this time coast down to 30 then pick speed back up to 55 do this twice....After this you should be ready for the test.....It worked for me...To get the exact test most inspection stations have a brochure that has all the steps.... Hope this helps
