can a awd 1g dsm run with a 420a non turbo hooked up to the awd tranny?
some guy told me he worked on my car when the previous owner had it still, he said the car used to be non turbo awd. is that even possible? does the motor and tranny just bolt together from any 420a or 4g63t? or does it only work with the 4g63t?

By no means. The 420a is a craptastic Chrysler motor. I'm pretty sure that you were talking about a N/A 4g63 because 1g's never came with a 420a in their N/A trim. But thats besides the fact that its still not happening.

WTF ummm no...

The 420a is a garbage/ thow away motor. Very similar to the motor in the base model neons. I wouldnt put one in a go-kart. Why the hell would you want to use one with awd? They make 140hp. They cant even spin the fwd they come in LOL.

okay well he said he took a non turbo motor so im guessing the n/a 4g63 and put it on an awd tranny idk if the guy was just talking out his ass or what? i know the awd only comes with a turbo. but i was just trying to find out if this guy was a tard. I personally dont care if the n/a 4g works in the car because i would never do that to my car, awd without a turbo just sounds stupid. and couldnt that possibly put more stress on the rear end? i love the boost to much, i had a 1.8 n/t eclipse about 5 years ago and that car was the slowest thing i ever drove. i mean my n/t dodge shadow is faster LOL i would never own another n/t dsm they arent for me

I would actualy love to see an n/a awd..It would be almost like the awd n/a galants..

Even tho the cost to swap in an awd system is probbaly just as much as buying a turbo awd 1g..

The n/a awd would be something I would let me girl drive..The awd really comes in handy in the snow.
