Non-turbo to turbo

I was wondering if I guys would help me out and point me out some great builds on not a low budget, I plan on spending like 4 grand but nothing like 10 so if u could send some links of some 1g builds of non turbo to turbo mainly or just made even better but please tell on ## post thanks for your help I love my dsm I bought one the other day for 500 that runs and has 94,000 miles

What are you exactly looking for? Give use some guide lines. It also says you have a 91 TSI. Is that the car you are currently talking about because TSI is turbo charged.


How much horsepower are you looking for?

Do you wanna just swap in a turbo since you are on a low budget?

If you want to do the work yourself you might be able to rebuild everything and get a turbo for 4 grand. You can definitely find a Evo 3 16g for less then 600.

for 4 grand you can get a brand new engine.

I would say before you go swapping a turbo into your car you do some research on that subject. Look up tech articles on how to swap a 4g63 to a 4g63T.

i have a 91 tsi that i blew up and im going to buy a 94 talon tomorrow for 500 with the specs above, i wanna put some sort of a 16g turbo in but i also need to kno what i need to buy to do it (to turn a 4g63 into a 4g63t), pretty much what im trying to say is i need a shopping list that i kno will work i kno mainly i need low compression pistons, but i dnt kno what compression to use, i kno i need a front mount but dnt kno how big i need that with an evo III and i was also looking at a 50 trim? how are those, and yes i will be doing this my self.

i dnt want to buy a new engine, i want to rebuild one to have a project to keep myself busy

Why not just get a new motor for your awd? Just as much work.

its not awd and i can make my new talon turbo with almost all of my old talon parts just need pistons, front mount, turbo and a few other things
