I know the fuel mapsare the same but can i put my friend n/t ecu in my turbo car to see if the ecu truely my probly

Are you asking... Can you put your friends N/T ECU in your turbo car to see if the ECU in your car is really the problem? It really does help when you put things in context that others can read and understand if they are going to even begin to understand or help you. Just a quick note.

Well im going to say this the search function does work :) and from reading on this forum from previous people that have asked that the answer is yes it should start the car. but it is not reccomeded to drive around with the ecu as the fuel maps are diffrent and a few other things...soooo according to other ppl to start it it should be fine but don't drive with it in...and also use the search it works trust me i've used it A LOT heck i learned u can easily make block off plates with soda cans haha

Ummm...I would like to know how the mapping is the same for a n/t to a turbo when the turbo has larger injector's...as well as different injector's. The ECU won't know that there are larger injector's. Also the timing will be too far advanced because that's what help's n/t create some power since they don't have turbo's. This could cause detonation too soon, before the piston is close enough to to TDC, and could cause knocking, and the n/t ECU doesn't have a knock sensor for it, so it won't retard the timing, and richen the mixture a little.
