Non-Turbo ECU in a AWD TSi?

Hey, i just got a 90 talon tsi. all i need is an ecu. A buddy gave me his(MD166255). after doin research on what it is for, it comes up as a 2.0 dohc w/o turbo w/o awd. now my question is,

What would happen if i put a non-turbo ECU in my AWD TSi?
Would it start?

It would start it, but do not drive around with it in. The timing and Fuel maps are totally different.

i ran mine for a couple weeks to work till i got the money for a turbo one and it ran fine it wouldnt stay running when i came to a stop but other than that it ran fine

ok then my next question would be. will it run fine with a FWD Turbo ECU? I have AWD just to remind you.

Yes, ECU's dont care how many wheels you drive.
