I have a 99 GS, When the car is cold its make a noise but when I push the clutch in it goes away. Noise sounds like its coming near the battery area. The noise eventually goes away once the car is warmed up. I also have a problem with shifting, when the car is cold. Rarely it doesnt engage reverse. I got a new clucth and master cylinder about 2 months ago. any ideas or suggestions to do?(stock car) any help would be great! thanks alot.

I didnt get etheir of them replace. the noise is like rattling, if that doesn't help i can try to record the sound.

Locke may be correct but i had the same exact problem with my 95 talon. It always appeared to be comng form the battery or transmission area. How i fixed it was putting more manual transaxle fluid in my transmission. I had never heard of this before until i researched it and it turns out many people never really pay attention to this fluid. They change the oil, flush their radiators, and fill their break fluid but the transmission fluid (or manual transaxle fluid whatever you may call it) on a manual car goes pretty much unnoticed and unchecked.
