I was driving today and started noticed that everytime I stopped the RPMs were getting lower and lower. Then on my way home, it started dying at every ligh and a clattering from the engine bay on the passenger side. Sounds like it's coming from the area where the trans. meets the block. Clutch feels softer now, I know the clutch wasn't that great to start with but now it has to go to the floor to shift gears. I change the oil every 2500 miles, and baby the car. I'm hoping it just the clutch or something in the area, but I won't know until I can start taking it a part since my girlfriend's G20 is in the garage. I have 68,000 miles on it. So yeah, the dsm is gonna be down for a while  . Anyone know what might be wrong or tell me where to start looking?

I just asked if it was crankwalk because of the things my car is doing, I didn't automatically then it was crankwalk. I haven't even taken it a part, I was just wondering what might cause it to do what it's doing. I'm sure there's a chance it could be crankwalk, but I don't really know until I look. I was just a title of the thread, not what I think the problem is, I just want someone that may have had the same thing happen tell me what to look for so it would make my job easier. It sucks because I have a one car garage and I'm rebuilding a SR20DE right now, so it may be a week until I can look and see what's up with it. Does anyone know what may be the problem?

Yeah, it isn't a constant noise. When I am coming to a stop the RPMs drop all the way causing the car to die, but when I take it out of gear and come to a stop it doesn't die. The car lags in the higher RPMs, anything past 3500rpm.

Well, started taking the talon apart the other night and decided to wiggle the crankshaft before I started taking the rest of the motor a part. There is way too much play in the crankshaft, just by removing the crank pully. Still gonna take motor a part to see what is the exact problem, which I probably a ready know. So, I'm probably going to be doing a 6 bolt soon than I thought. BTW, stopped driving it a while ago but I noticed that you can here a bearing type noise now. Not looking good right, does anyone know where I can find a 6 bolt block for rebuild.
