No Power, knock sensor maybie????

Yes that could very well be either a bad case of phantom knock or a bad knock sensor. Your lifters or something else could be setting it off too. To check if it is a bad knock sensor, find your knock sensor (it's on the back of your block on the second cylinder right below the intake manifold) it will have a few wires coming out of it, hard to reach but once you find those wires you will know you found it. Then feel the back of the sensor and if it is gooey or sticky then it is bad, the heat will melt it and it make it bad. Time for a new one, they cost about $70.
 
Yea you should be able to. It took me a while to find it just ### there is a lot of crap in the way (ie fuel lines, spark plug wires, intake manifold bracket, intake manifold, etc), and I even have a/c and some vacuum lines removed. Like I said it might take a few minutes to find it but you will know it when you have found it, its really the only thing down there with wires coming out of the back, and i bet you will feel that sticky stuff on the back of it too.
