I have no power at all from my car. The check engine light is on, but has been on for a long time. The power loss started about 3 days ago, and the CEL has been on for more than 3 weeks. I am changing the plugs and the fuel filter tonight. The plugs in there are 3 weeks old, so I doubt it is those. I don't know when the fuel filter was last changed, but I think the power loss is too sever for it to be the fuel filter (changing it anyways). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!

Mike

i just recently changed my cam angle sensor and this is what was happening my car idled fine the when the car got to a certain temprature the car started studdering and stalling and the car was not starting back up for about 10-15 min then it would start back up fine like nothing was wrong untill it happened again i dont know if that helps

It is really hard to get my car started in the morning, or after it has sat for a long time. When it first starts up, if I give it any gas, it stalls. I am hoping that will be solved when I replace the fuel filter, but if the cam angle sensor was messed up, could that cause this as well?

yes it can the cam angle sensor tells the computer when to fire the injectors.

have u checked the computer for codes?

I checked the codes today. The only code being thrown was the engine temperature sensor. I pulled the wires out of that sensor when changing the clutch by accident and have not fixed that problem yet. I was able to change the fuel filter today and mess w/ the cam angle sensor a bit. The combination of those things has got me beating v8's again, so I guess all is well until next week....
