So I was replacing my intake manifold gasket today and I noticed that my intake manifold doesn’t have the port for the egr valve. I was going to delete the egr anyways but I’m just wondering why there’s no port on the intake manifold. There’s one on the engine side. The engine did come from Japan, so maybe that’s why? The intake manifold looks like the factory one

Japanese Eclipse intake manifolds don't have the egr port, neither the 2g MDP sensor port due to different emission regulation. Also different throttle body, O2 sensor, ECU, harness, no rear O2, etc.
The cyclone manifolds don’t have it either.
Just a little correction. Not all cyclone manifolds. Some cyclone manifolds from non turbo have the egr port. It's blocked off from the factory though.
