I recently fired up my freshly built 6 bolt. And while I was putting it together I installed a EGR block off plate as many people do. While doing so I inspected the instale manifold and noticed that the EGR port had a small passage going into each cylinder runner.
Could this theoretically mean I could use the EGR port for Methanol injection or maybe spraying NOS ?
Could this be used as a reliable VACUUM/BOOST source?
I don't see how this wouldn't work but I would like to see what others might think of this.
If you have a instake manifold for a 6 bolt, you will notice also 2 plugs on each side of the manifold that block off a gallery for the EGR gasses to fed into each runner. 1 Right next to the bolts that hold the Ignition coil bracket and the 2nd near the EGR valve.
I included a picture of inside a old manifold of mine where you can see the small hole inside the runner.
