So I pulled the clutch pedal assembly and placed it on the ground.

Everything that I have read indicates that the play should be very obvious, but I see zero play.

I had previously performed all the tests for play and the pedal had very obvious play.

Now I am wondering if I replaced the clutch pedal for nothing!

Where is this so called play supposed to be?

Thanks!

I found the freeplay, it is only about .5 inches. The pedal doesn't come up all the way. Is this enough to cause severe disengagement issues?

The clutch only disengages about 1 inch or less from the firewall and the master cylinder rod was all the way out.

Thanks
