k i'm a little more confused now  ? The rod on the master cylinder is suppose to adjust the free play, and the clutch switch is suppose to adjust the height according to haynes and chiltons. But both of them are adjusting the height of the pedal! I'm suppose to adjust what in order to get the pedal free play to 1/2".:toobad:

are you talking about the play in the pedel after u have let it back up an were u reach down an pull the pedel the rest of the the ### up?. if so you can't get the free play out, its from were the lever is wore out, im going through the same thing now with my talon.
