Clutch play after clutch fork broke

To make a long story short, I installed my act 2600 awhile ago, and it's been fine. The other day my clutch fork broke, so of course I tore it apart and replaced the fork. I get it all back together, bleed the clutch, and ends up being a ton of play in the pedal.

Does this make any sense at all? I've bled the crap out of the clutch, and it doesn't seem to fix it. What could be the problem? I replaced the broken OEM fork with another OEM fork, so nothing has really changed.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you replace it with the revised/stronger version? Was it new or used? If you can't adjust the master rod out anymore, get a longer slave shaft.
 
I replaced it with a brand new OEM fork. As far as adjusting the master rod, I shouldn't need to considering it was fine before the stock clutch fork broke. All that I changed was the clutch fork, and that was with another OEM one. Although the new fork didn't look exactly like my stock one (broken one), the part number matched with the year and make of my car.

Everything should be working the way it should, considering all I changed was the broken fork.

I appreciate the help. What exactly do you mean by shimmed? I have a feeling I'm going to have to drop the tranny, again. Sounds fun :thumb:

Ok, thats the revised/stronger one then. They sell it in place of the original, but it's slightly different. Try adjusting the rod and see if you can get your pedal back. If you can't, check out the forks position in the hole. It may have to be shimmed. Good luck.
