Cool, I was just wanting to make sure. I've heard about this bov since January. I just now have the money to spend on a bov and this was my choice since it seemed like a good bov. They reply quick to my messages. Which is a plus. They seem to be doing good since there getting there own site up now. I cant wait for it to get here.

I've got one on the way, glad I found this thread, was a little worried about the quality, but after reading this I can't wait for it to get here now.

How do you adjust these BOVs? I know you turn the adjustment screw, but how do you know when it's properly adjusted?

According to the information NGR sent me with mine, if your idle is rough or the car stalls, you need to make it harder. If you get flutter from the turbo, it needs to be softer. I got mine put on today and it is really nice, and sounds amazing even recirculated.

these really are nice pieces. Holds boost unlike the stock plastic POS that came with the 2g dsms. The sound is great and if you hook up the lower nipple to a boost source such as that off of the compressor housing it helps initiate the bov when under slight boost.

agreed, and for the price you cant go wrong. I believe with shipping i paid 120 dollars and that gave me almost everything i needed. If you have a 1g you can modify your stock bov pipe to accommodate this bov but if you have a 2g you need a greddy bov adaptor. Mine was 15 dollars off of ebay.

I got my NGR Type S today. I am very impressed and let me say this. This is the first Type S (first a knock off then the real thing) that I have not had to do the single spring mod to, in order for it to blow off correctly. What this tells me is that NGR's bov and diaphgram are strong and do not leak.

My theory is that the single spring mod may be a cover up to a blown diaphram and leaking bov.

I am running both springs in my NGR bov and it blows off and holds boost AMAZINGLY!

does ngr have a web site or is it just luck of th draw on ebay with them i cant find one for nothing when i bought my ebay knock off type s witch sucks as you all know dosent sound or work like a greddy type s

they are currently building their website... its not ready yet.... and if you want to get one on ebay you have to check them on youtube to find out when and how much they are selling for that week

What kind of boost are you guys running
I need something that will hold min 25 psi - hopefully more.

I have Greddy china knock off that flutters and seems to only hold till 23-24 psi

Well if you read on their youtube channel, it says they had a bank problem they were fixing, which caused some production delays. But it states they are fixed, so I'm assuming more BOVs will be ready soon.

As for the Punishment FMIC I bought that kit and the BOV is crap. I didn't install it because I already use the NGR Type-S, but the one that came in the punishment kit, the valve didn't even open. So I opened the BOV and diaphragm was the crappy one all knockoffs use and the springs are very long and stiff (causing BOV to surge), overall the internals look dirty inside, of cheap quality. I believe that is why they stopped including the BOV in their kits.

No knockoff type-s makes the authentic whistle Greddy was known for. NGR Type-S is the only one creates it and fixed the problems of Greddy's Type-S, which is why it is like the new authentic type-s now since the old one was discontinued.

i havent had any problems with my greddy type s and ive had it over 2 years now...this product really seems to be a great buy and worth every penny.

bsbllfit7 mentioned a mod with the second nipple witch i think also applies to the greddy bov... is it safe? and is there any benefit besides the sound at low boost?
