I striped my greddy BOV adjustment screw housing a couple of days ago.
I was pretty pissed, but since it came with the car, no money lost.
Good thing I kept the BOV that came with my PR intercooler.
So my question is, does this BOV look like the one NGR sales?
It seems to be doing great, sounds just like the Greddy type S.

Honestly, that looks just like the NGR type-S diaphragm. Here's a picture for comparision:

Punishment might have ordered them from NGR or the ebay knock-offs have stepped up their game. If it works good, use it. It's better than the stock plastic valve, that's for sure.

Yea thats what I thought, just wanted a second opinion.
This "NGR" BOV actually holds better than my old Greddy.
The Greddy would leak around the adjustment screw, this one does not.
It took awhile to get the new "NGR" BOV adjusted just right, I had crazy flutter before I adjusted the screw.

Thtas kinda crazy that it has the same diaghram as an NGR.
I am going to take mine apart too adn see. I asked PR though when I got my kit and they said it was a no name ebay one. but i know the early ngr's had no name plate on them, just the soft and hard.

Put teflon tape on the adjustment screw. worked for me.

Thats what I did with the Greddy, and thats how I striped the thing:coy:
For the NGR I bought a pack of seals from the "help section" at autozone and that did the trick.

Thats what I was told also, Thats why I am not sure.
But to me it looks just like an early NGR BOV.
Either way I am glad I got this included with my PR intercooler.

You should email the guys at NGR and see if they'll send you one of those NGR decals for the top hat for free or for shipping cost. Tell them you bought one of the early models from them before they had the decal plates on them.

Ehh? It's worth a shot, LOL.

Not a bad idea. I ran across a thread on here somewhere a while back when I was looking inot the PR kit they said that it did come with the NGR one, but PR said it was a knock off, so idk, I will dig into mine tomorrow and see what I find out.

No surprise you stripped the screw at the top of the Greddy- horrible design, only catches about two threads in the cover. I'd either install a HeliCoil or tap it for a slightly larger bolt- possible a fine-thread SAE bolt of a similar size.

Mine is the same diaghram as the OP. ebay must be stepping up there game? I am going to email NGR and see if I can get one of the plates for it.

That's what I did with my eBay Type-S one before I got rid of it.

The inner ricer in me loved the Type-S I had on my old GST, but it wasn't the greatest. My crushed 1G drives me absolutely insane right now though. I hate that damn whinny assed thing.

NGR will only sell the stickers to the ones they have on record of buying their bov. I just ordered mine a few months ago and they made sure I bought from them LOL.

Understandable, but if they are running the same diaphragm it should be the same, but i guess not really LOL, I just want one though.

Fixed it, Just took the sticker of my old Greddy and stuck it on the "NGR" BOV.
Now I could take the old Greddy bottom half cast and stick it on there to have the Greddy name on the side.

My pics look the same as yours. NGR told me the diaphragm is a copy and still doesn't work properly. When I look at there pics mine does look a bit more flimsy!
