i just bought a 95 eagle talon tsi with a list of mods, guy says it has a bent vavle from my finding the timing is off. he had a headgasket head studs ect done 26 miles ago and came out of work one day and car wouldnt start. he worked for a hyndai dealer and the mechanics pulled the valve cover over and checked compression. mechanic said he was 110% sure he had a bent valve how ever i believe that the timing either slipped after the install of the new timing belt, or the halfass garage didnt set the timing when they put it all back together. ive searched the forum and went through the haynes manual but i dont know where to start. i need a rundown for dummies on how to time the engine from the ground up starting with how do i put it on top dead center. where do i put the ratchet on ect. thanks in advance!
