Somewhere in,
Colorado
I bought a 6 bolt long block today for a decent price. Drove the Talon before we pulled the engine out, and it drove really well. Looks like ass on the outside of the engine, but after getting in home and pulling it apart to inspect other areas, it looks really, really clean inside. The guy I bought it from claims to only drive it on the weekends. Anyway, I'm getting a few last parts for it over the next few weeks. Since it is otherwise drive ready, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have to worry about rebuild break-in time do I? Such as the frequent oil change intervals. The guy didn't know the mileage, but I'm guessing under 20k. I'm replacing all belts just for my own satisfaction, but even the balance and t-belts looked good. No cracking or dry rotting. Also replacing the rear main and a few others to be safe. Any advice welcomed.
