. I miss my good ol 14b. This car would be ALOT lighter then the car i went 112.89mph on. Hmmm decisions.

I kept the engine from stalling this time by heel/toeing the brake and throttle. I guess autox/RR driving skills help on the dragstrip, too. 
But congrats on a great one! How much do you think the SMIM is doing for your setup? I would be curious to know if it's actually helping or hurting with the 14b.I could've used a stock intake manifold with the fmic kit, but I wanted to push the peak VE up to higher rpm. That's how I see it, too.From what I understand the larger volumes generally only affect transient boost production. The IC becomes full of boost and as long as it isn't leaking , the only place for the air to go is into the engine, same as with the smaller IC. Pumping losses through the core (boost drop) are generally much less in bigger FMIC.
I think a 2G manifold will make little difference. I measured the runners and the diameter is within 1/2 mm of a 2G manifold. I'd like to try the FP Race mani with an EVO3 O2 housing, and maybe a 7cm housing.tkelly27 said:That is an interesting theory that is clearly working.
