Just thought I'd share this here for those who aren't on Facebook. There's a new option for those who want to run straight cut gears in their oil pump. Obviously OEM gears are discontinued and no longer available so this is great news. I told the gentleman who is selling them to post it here but I'm not sure if he's a member. I hope it's ok for me to post this here to raise awareness.

I think I saw him on a YouTube video, 1320 maybe, and he seemed like a stand-up guy. Isn't he like an ex MLB player? That's pretty damn cool if true.
Yup, he's pretty active, he was in Cleetus' awd shootout, Sick Week and a number of other events.

I was wondering if these RSB racing straight cut oil pump gears fit into an OEM Mitsu front case that originally came with helical gears (such as a 91 and up front case)? I have seen that using the case intended for helical gears (91 and up) and installing the oem straight cut mitsu oil pump gears into it is not supposed to work (per Mitsubishi TSB). Can anyone verify this? Do these gears work with any case (oem mitsu, ACL, topline)? Or do you need to use a 1990 front cover with them (just like oem mitsu)?

I can't speak specifically about these gears, but the OEM straight cut will fit and work without issue in a newer revised 6-bolt OEM front case.

Ok, then it is possible to use the RSB racing straight cut oil pump gears in basically any oil pump front cover (oem, Acl, topline) and they work fine. I was referencing the mitsu TSB as follows
NO.:TSB-92-11-002 REVISION 2

If its all good to use basically any 6 or 7 bolt front cover / housing with the RSB racing gears, then can someone share the contact information for this vendor with me?

Thanks
Erik

Hey sorry I don’t see this. Yes these gears fit just like oem into any 6 bolt or 7 bolt front cover. Evo as well. Thank you everyone for the kind words. Just trying to do a small part to keep the platform going. Facebook is definitely the best way to reach me but I will make it a point to get back on the forums. I’ve always liked them more anyways.
