well lets start with thwta I have done to it.
a/c delete
balance shaft delete
emissions delete - iac is still there and plugged in with the 2 lines connected together.
completely new rotating assembly, pistons rods and crank all stock but arp studded rods (Frankenstein) new rings new 3g lifters new gaskets and seals from head and block. 14b turbo with dsbc on 10psi low and 15 high for now,
turbo xs bov, new fuel filter.
Now on this startup it was starting just before that but only when I primed the fuel pump with the starter disconnected. im guessing since the ecu didn't read and spark for some reason so I wasn't getting gas. After I did this twice its finally always pumping now and works good. The new fuel filter really helped, The old one you could barely blow through. I have a vacuum port that's not capped off as well. And my bov is connected next to the sensor on the very top of the intake mani, that bigger port is t'ed off to my BOV and dsbc then from the controller to the wastegate port. But which hose goes to the j pipe? does that get connected to a port on my hard piped intake?

Wow. A lot of questions at once.

First of all, just because the IAC is there, doesn't mean it's working. It has two coils inside, and you should use a multi-meter to confirm that they are both intact.

Watching your startup video, judging by the blue smoke, you are running rich.

Here is a link that will help you with your vac line routing on your BC.

There are more threads too if this doesn't answer all of your routing questions.

Glad to see you got it back together and running again.

I got the BOV hooked up correctly, i am still running rich but it idles around 1000rpm with no balance shafts which is where i want it. The problem now is after the engine warms up a bit it will idle at 1500 rpms and jumps up n down 300rpms within that. I think the culprit is the iac solenoid and thats because my laptop recorded it funny. Also the car dies if i rev it to like 5-6k and i think thats because my biss screw is all the way in so it boggs down from no air and dies. I ordered a new one today and bought a voltmeter to test the resistance of the iac.

If you have the fiav and you didnt replace it with a flat plate and block it off then you will have high idle period. Looping the coolant lines to it does not eliminate it, without the coolant lines connected to it the idle will not come down.
