I have a 98 GSX eclipse and I started tuning it with ECUFlash. The car had a 97' ecu in it but the car is indeed a 98'. I swapped out the ecu and started to flash it with ECUFlash and everything worked. The ECU received the new tune however the car will not start. It will crank over but it will simply just not start up.

I swapped back in the old ecu and it started right up. I check over the tune a multiple of times but I did not change anything major to make the car not start. I opened up the ecu and it did not smell burnt or anything like that so i am not sure what it could me.

Any advice would be great! Thanks in advice guys.

set the tune exactly like the old ecu. Idk for sure if it matters on this year but did you input your vin into the ecu for security purposes?

maybe the new ecu isnt working properly , could accept the new tune but that doesnt mean that that ecu its firing or inyecting pulse

ill check first for spark and fuel ...if you dont have any it can be either the ecu or the tune
