Well, first off I've had about 9 eclipses/talons but they were all n/t.
Yesterday, I picked up a 95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD for $500.
He said it will crank but not turn over...
After getting it home, I pulled the intake off and looked at the turbo and it has some up/down and left/right shaft play, but no in/out shaft play.
It has a new head, alternator, belts, PS pump, and a few other things.
What are some basic things to check for to get it running?
I'm also looking for a guide of all the vacuum hoses to make sure everything is hooked up right.
I unhooked the fuel rail due to noticing one injector was leaking because it didn't have a gasket so I know it's getting fuel.
Any help would be appreciated.

3 things to check. air, spark and fuel. if you have fuel and have air, check your spark. google "taboo speed shop vacuum diagram" in google and you'll find a thread with the stock setup then with the reduced setup.

Two things. First, your thread title "I bought my first real DSM:)" isn't pertinent to the question you posted. We like you to title your threads on the topic of the question, doing so makes it searchable in our forums search function and it also gives everyone that looks at it and idea of what the question topic is.

Second, use that search function because it's there for a reason. Car won't start? Sweet! Happens to all of us so we thought it was a good idea to create a tech article, which is a step-by-step guide, to troubleshoot a no start. Doing so, at least in theory, should eliminate questions like these because before you post you should always search.

I'm moving this thread to the Graveyard so it doesn't get littered with members trying to guess and end up confusing you. Go through the steps listed in the troubleshooting article (linked above) and, once you have an idea of whats wrong, post a thread with your new found information if you have further questions.
