Hello,

I bought my 95 GST used and with it came a host of problems but, thats another story...

The problem I am currently pleading for help with is my drivers side door lock. From the time I picked it up it had a security/alarm problem due to the fact that the drivers side lock cylinder was hacked together.

It has power locks and probably keyless entry(but never came with a remote) but the power locks only work on the pass side lock. I "patched" the alarm by jumping the plug that would go to a proper door cylinder, but mine looks like it was installed with some kind of black epoxy... or perhaps the undead souls of the poor bastards that dealership has screwed in the past. I think the lock they installed is 3rd party basic "car door lock" they could install.

But anyway how can I get a proper driverside lock that works with the rest of the system, IE unlocks when I hit the doorlock switch on the doorlock?

Thanks
