how do you re key a 1ga door lock cylinder. I had to get a new door and the old cylinder was damaged with the old door. any pics and all help is greatly appreciated.

Here is a nice thread about a 2G lock: http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/how-to-re-key-a-2g-door-lock.444448/
Even though 1G is different, it still works same way so similar techniques can be used on it. Not having a 1G anywhere around at the moment, so can't give you any more help.
If you keep having issues with it, post a picture of your progress here and i might be able to help then.
