I pulled my oil pan off of my g63b engine, thinking I had a rod knock. Checked all the bearings and they looked like they had normal wear for being 27 years old. I happened to glance at the drivers side and noticed the balance shaft was missing the big(rear) bearing. If the bore is out-of-round, am I screwed? Where does the oil pressure go thru? Any way i can cut the shaft off right behind the oil pump and plug the oil gallery?

How do the balance shaft delete kits work? Would this help me?

Did you mean to say 4g63 engine? I'm assuming you're referring to our beloved mitsubishi engine and that "g63b" was a typo. Regardless of what engine though, bearings don't just disappear, if one of the balance shaft bearing was indeed missing, and the balance shaft was still installed, then its somewhere else in the engine, in which case you need to find it or whatever is left of it to make sure it can't damage anything.
Here is some info on the delete process:
http://www.4g63turbo.com/tech/eclipse-balance-shaft-removal.html

I didn't read the whole thing, just skimmed it, but if it doesn't say to, make sure you get the right stub shaft if you do the delete, there is a hole or groove (can't remember which) that the genuine mitsu stub shafts have, but some aftermarket ones don't, and its important that it has it. Also, if the balance shaft is missing altogether, its possible they removed the bearing, which you can do on one side, from what I recall the balance shaft on the oil pump carries its oil through the shaft itself instead of using a galley on the block(but double check that if you decide to mess with that bearing, its been a while since I did my delete), in which case when doing the delete, you could if you wanted to remove that bearing, although there isn't really a need to. on the other side, you have to clock the bearings 180 to block the oil galleys so you aren't spraying gobs of oil onto nothing and dropping pressure. Let me know if you still have questions.
